English Harbour earned its name in the Second World War, when British vessels used its hidden entrance as cover. Longoz is pine to the waterline and quiet enough to hear it.Körfezin en yeşil iki demir yeri. İngiliz Limanı adını İkinci Dünya Savaşı'nda, gizli girişini siper olarak kullanan İngiliz gemilerinden almış. Longoz ise su hizasına kadar çam; sessizliği duyulacak kadar sakin.

KaracasöğütKaracasöğütA working village with a small quay — the day you step ashore for a coffee, buy fruit, and let the crew take on water. A useful reminder that this coast is lived in, not staged.Küçük iskelesi olan, hayatın döndüğü bir köy — kahve için karaya çıkılan, meyve alınan, mürettebatın su aldığı gün. Karacasöğüt → Orak IslandKaracasöğüt → Orak AdasıBack west, with Orak as the last long swim. The water here is the clearest on the route and the island has no shade to speak of, which is exactly why people stay in the sea until dinner.Batıya dönüş; son uzun yüzme Orak'ta. Gökova falls in both our seasons, and the difference is real. In May, September and October the whole boat is €2,088 a day; in June, July and August it is €2,952. Both figures include VAT and cover the boat, the crew of four, fuel for the usual legs, daily housekeeping, linen and towels, water, gas, unlimited Wi-Fi and Turkish harbour dues.Gökova iki sezonumuza da denk geliyor ve fark gerçek. Seven days is the shape this route was made for. Four days is our minimum and it works — but the Gökova arc loses its middle.
